Gain an interdisciplinary skillset for designing, analyzing, managing and securing information systems and IT-related projects with HU. Our online program merges practical and theoretical concepts from across computer science and IT, with a focus on fast-growing areas including mobile computing, virtualization, cloud services and data analytics. You can choose from two concentrations: IT Infrastructure and Networking or Operating Systems, Virtualization, and Cloud Computing.

There are many IT-related careers you can pursue with our online ITIS degree, and many of them are projected to experience steady job growth over the 2021-2031 period, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. For example, computer systems analyst jobs are projected to grow by 9% nationally, potentially adding up to 50,900 new jobs to the economy.1
Equip yourself to design, set up, configure, and troubleshoot the hardware that houses networks, powers data centers, and makes cloud computing possible. This concentration will prepare you for the CCNA certification exam.
The most well-designed network system needs software to run on it. In this concentration, you can learn to design, install, and configure operating systems on physical machines and virtual- or cloud-based servers while preparing for Linux and VMware certification exams.
To apply to the online B.S. in Information Systems and Information Technology, official high school transcripts or GED test scores are required. Current and recent high school students applying for admission should have a minimum grade point average of 2.75.
Applicants with work experience and a high school diploma or GED are encouraged to apply in order receive a review of your qualifications for acceptance.
